Origin of raw materials: fresh seasonal vegetables produced on the farm. The fruit, a sort of green pumpkin with an average weight of about 300 grams, is completely covered with thorny quills; it is an ovoid-shaped vegetable that can reach 15 cm in height, with a surface color that can range from dark green to yellowish. The taste is sweet, the pulp is very firm and compact, without seeds. It also turns out that it is extraordinarily rich from a nutritional point of view: it contains vitamin C, amino acids, low in sodium and rich in water, has diuretic effects and would be able to promote the dissolution of kidney stones. It is useful in the prevention of atherosclerosis, hypertension and heart attack. All in a skullcap bristling with hard and very unfriendly thorns!
